Galatians: Freedom in Christ

Starting on the 1st November and running through to February 2021 we are going to be studying Paul's letter to the Galatians at our Sunday morning service: Galatians - Freedom in Christ

"Paul's letter to the Galatians is his response to those in every generation who would try to tamper with the essential message of the Gospel: That salvation is obtained by faith, not law, and that freedom in Christ moves us to live by the Spirit of God".

Tim Keller: In this short letter, Paul outlines the bombshell truth that the gospel is that A to Z of Christian life. It is not only the way to enter the kingdom; it is the way to live as part of the kingdom. It is the way Christ transforms people, churches and communities.

The Gospel is not just for non Christians! Christians need the Gospel just as much as non-Christians - It is what brings about the fruit of the spirit in our lives.

We encourage you to take the time to read through Galatians (more than once?) as we engage with and study it together.

The video below will provide you with a good overview of Paul's letter.

Our Small Groups that meet on alternate Sunday evenings will unpack and look at questions based on our morning teaching, along with a time of prayer and fellowship.

We are still operating our Sunday morning gatherings at a reduced capacity, following all the government health guidelines. If you wish to attend it is important you book in by e-mailing:

register [at] bethanychurch.org.uk (register[at]bethanychurch[dot]org[dot]uk).

As not everyone is able to attend we are still continuing to make our Sunday services available online and these can be accessed via our social media channels.
