MENTORING
We are looking forward to having Jim Brown at Bethany Church on Sunday 29th September (6.30pm) to share about mentoring from a biblical perspective.
Our ultimate example of a mentor in the bible is Jesus. As we study God’s Word we can see how Jesus mentored his disciples, and we can learn from his approach about the role of mentoring in making disciples today.
Please put this date in your diary as it will be a very informative night for everyone – As christians we all have a role to play in mentoring and discipling others.
“Jim has been working for Exodus since it started in 1997. He is married to Eva and has 2 kids – Sophie and Peter. He taught for 12 years before helping pioneer the work of Exodus in Portstewart.
Jim’s primary focus within Exodus is to provide leadership and keep a focus on the development of the work in Europe. He is passionate about small groups and mentoring and believes that training is an important key to effective discipleship.”
